Introducing QUIETEYE
What is the QUIETEYE?
The QUIETEYE is the period just before, during and just after the critical task in sports performance
Why is the QUIETEYE Important to Sports Performance
Studies have shown that by maximizing this period, before, during and after the critical task, sports success is improved
How is the QUIETEYE Evaluated?
Using a pair of specially designed glasses (see image) with a camera facing forward and another facing back towards the eyes, we can obtain information which when evaluated using the QUIETEYE approach can measure what an athlete is looking at during the critical period for their sport
How can we provide you with a QUIETEYE?
We perform QUIETEYE testing on athletes of any sport. In fact, we have published results of this technique on free throw success in NBA basketball players, in Premier League soccer as well as using this on MLB batters and pitchers
What areas are developed by the QUIETEYE?
By leveraging the QUIETEYE technique, we are able to improve an athletes success in their sport
How does the QUIETEYE aid athlete growth and performance
The QUIETEYE technique Ā will increase the accuracy of actions taken by the athlete, whether being able to throw more strikes, connect better when batting, sink more putts in golf, or have a higher shot success rate in basketball , hockey or soccer - the QUIETEYE is an incredibly powerful tool!

The Practical Importance of QuietEye Training
Although hitting a baseball is often described as the most difficult task in all of sports, shooting baskets during a game likely ranks a close second. Research has shown that a concept termed the "quiet eye" is related to basketball performance.
This refers to how a shooter visualizes the target, how consistent their visual fixation is, and how long they maintain that fixation - all factors that have been correlated to shooting success.
In a study of NBA players, those who visually fixated longer and more frequently on the rim were more successful not only with free throws but also with three-point field goals, demonstrating the practical importance of QuietEye training for basketball performance at the highest levels.
